On September 19, 2024, Long Covid United hosted its inaugural gala at the USC Hotel Venue, bringing together community members, healthcare professionals, philanthropists, and advocates to raise awareness and support for Long Covid research and patient care.

The event, which drew over 200 attendees, featured inspiring speeches from Eli Gabbay, founder of Long Covid United, and Dr. Caitlin McAuley, the lead physician at Keck Medicine’s COVID Recovery Clinic. Their heartfelt words emphasized the importance of ongoing support for Long Covid patients and the urgent need for further research.

Victims of Long Covid also shared their stories and experiences with the condition.

Through the generosity of attendees, donors, and sponsors, we raised over $80,000 to advance Keck Medicine of USC's Long Covid Clinic and clinical research initiatives.
